the bathroom sink

This is what William does at the sink. He is sick in these pictures. I was happy he found something fun to do that did not take a lot of his energy.
He has been watching Finding Nemo again.

This is what Gracie does. I looked down this morning and noticed teeth marks on the soap. When did that happen? I will have to ask Russ about it when he gets home. That reminds me of the time that William tried to brush his teeth with soap. I don't know why my kids don't believe me and insist on trying everything for themselves.

So sick

So the after the last post William was seen by the doctor early one morning to find out he had strep throat. Yuck - I hate having strep so I felt soo bad for him. Everytime he swallowed he would flinch and the way he would talk sounded just like I would when my throat hurt that bad, like you are trying not to move your mouth when you talk. He would lay down a lot and just wasn't his usual jolly self. On Saturday we went over to a friends house and William had been on antibiotics but still wasn't feeling well. But even as tired and lethargic as he was he could resist the half pipe.

He would run back and forth with all the strength he could muster and then rest for a few minutes and then try again, and he really wasn't running all that fast. And this picture that I snapped makes it look like he was doing a fancy jig, but he was just running:)
Russ had a good time on the scooter.and trying to climb up the 10 ft. drop.not quite. So he tried on the other side
and he made it!
We also got to show Russ their AMAZING theater. Besides the fact that it is so beautiful, it has the best picture and sound I have ever seen. Something Russ really appreciates. Luckily William woke up the next morning and was feeling much better. He swallowed and said in a very excited voice, "Mommy I still have a sore throat, but it's getting better!"

Thanks for sharing

I have to admit that I love blogging. I love that I keep in touch with people I otherwise wouldn't and that I get great ideas. I saw this on a few blogs and am happy to share it.
Kids love it when I give them food like this and they don't even mind that it is all fruit and veggies. Maybe a little bit of cheese :) I would do grapes or celery, but I ran out.

Only two were left when it was only the veggies left tho, but they all had some without complaint or encouragement.

The kids also loved having friends over to play yesterday. William played so hard he busted out into a fever after they left. I kept asking him if anything hurts but he said, "no" and and fell fast asleep dreaming about anemones. He literally said that in his sleep, someone has been watch Finding Nemo again.

Easter Sunday

So I never did get around to making a dress for Gracie, but I did find a little hat at a thrift store. It had small, white, ribbon roses around it that I took off and replaced with one large fabric flower and she wore a dress that I borrowed from my sister in law. She looked really sweet.William wore the same outfit as last year only with different pants. We went to the temple after church to try and get some nice picture of the kids, but it didn't work out. They were tired and it was sunny. This is the best that I got. This was the worst. Apparently she did not want William touching her.
The pictures below are probably going to be hard to see but when we walked up to the flowers we saw a humming bird (drinking from the purple flowers that William is looking at). We told William to stop because he would scare it away but he went a little closer and...
...the humming bird turned around and just looked at him (it is hard to see in the picture, he is in front of the green leaves next to the purple flower). It was crazy. He did it for a few seconds and then flew into a tree over us and sat there. We decided that he liked William.

The night before when we had been driving home we were talking to William about Jesus and how he died for us and William said, "I don't want to die." I asked him why and he said, "I am afraid of dying." Russ and I then explained that we will all die but we don't know when and that it is okay because Jesus died for us and we will live again. When I explained it to him it helped me realize how silly I am for being so afraid of death and how grateful I am for my Savior and this Easter season to celebrate him. It is becoming my favorite holiday. When we got home we heard the last song of the Easter pageant so William got on his bike and we got Gracie in the stroller and got there in time to see Christ rise and everyone sing, "I Know He Lives" and guess what, I know too.

Miss Grace

Now Gracie was much harder to photograph. I tried singing some of her favorite songs, but here here she is below sayong, "no, nuff!" Which means, "no, enough." I promise I don't say that her when she sings. The pictures aren't bad, but they are not great. And thank heavens for picasa and retouch tool so I could get rid of all the pieces of the seed pod that got all over her sweater. I couldn't get her to put that thing down.
So now again, help. Let me know your favorite.

2. 3. 4.

Oh, and I just had to add this picture of my little girl and her daddy.

This picture is so cute it makes me want to squeal.
